Since my days in college when I read Plato's Analogy of the Cave, I've been a disciple of Socrates and attempted to live by his motto: "The unexamined Life is not worth Living". This philosophy has moved me through a spectrum of scientific and spiritual interests, two topics most believe are at odds, but for me a paradox worth examining. The bounty of natural beauty, human pleasures, diversity in people & ideas, music, sports, last but not least travel, all make this journey worth living.
